Overview:
Come join the Marketing Strategy Team as a Senior Marketing Manager. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who will contribute to the development of the go to market plan, working with our partners in design, product, analytics, customer success and research in a highly collaborative and influential role. This person would focus specifically on our holistic offer and discount strategy across the entire Fintech portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic vision, business acumen, communication skills, collaborative mindset, and go to market launch experience — having worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments crafted to move with velocity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the execution of the 1-year plan for TurboTax offers and discount strategy with an eye toward 2- and 3-year impacts.
- Leverage customer insights, analytics, and finance to identify and unlock new offer or discount opportunities that allow us to better serve our customers while meeting our business objectives
- Champion offer strategy across the organization to ensure we’re applying the right level of strategic rigor in decision making in a highly competitive category
- Develop clear messaging and creative briefs that translate customer insights into impactful benefits and reasons to believe all the way from advertising to on site and through the product experience.
- Evaluate creative execution and provide constructive feedback to design teams in both advertising and through the end-to-end customer experience
- Work cross-functionally across marketing, product, customer success teams to influence end to end customer experience and ensure delivery of key milestones.
- Establish metrics for success, inform and interpret results and drive recommendations for improvements with velocity
- Own the business outcomes for your specific marketing programs, connect them to overall business performance
- Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B testing to roll-out experiences and creative that deliver improved business outcomes
Qualifications
- 6+ years professional experience in marketing or product management
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver amazing outcomes
- Solid written and verbal skills to communicate program objectives, recommendations, and results to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, initiative and the desire to drive significant, measurable performance results
- Track record of making principled, data-based business decisions balanced with strong ability to manage ambiguity; experience driving pricing, discounting, or promotional programs preferred
- Strong experience uncovering new qualitative and quantitative customer insights and leveraging deep empathy to drive decisions and influence E2E customer experiences
- Strong data analysis skills, with experience in hypothesis driven testing, test result analysis and making recommendations
