Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer III in Saint Louis, MO. Duties Include:
- Systems Engineer III will inform research, analyze technology, consult vendors and apply best practices to design technical solutions by utilizing systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; Typically related to new implementations or enhancements of enterprise scale and moderate complexity
- Validate, test, and implement new products and services
- Provide technical and advisory leadership as required to complete objectives
- As a Systems Engineer III, you will respond to and resolve incidents escalated from lower-level engineers and performance tuning requests utilizing critical thinking skills
- Create and maintain documentation related to services, solutions and interfaces
- Provide training and mentoring for other personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional certification
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments
- Experience working in higher education
- Experience as a technical team leader
- Experience with systems analysis techniques and procedures and developing functional specifications
- Technology specifics as above (key technologies such as VMware for virtualization, Exchange/SharePoint for Collaboration, SQL DB, Tiered enterprise storage systems)

- OIDC
- MS Entra ID management
- Single Sign-on
- CyberArk management
- Privileged Access Management concepts
- PowerShell scripting
- High aptitude for learning new technologies
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues
- Effective oral and written presentation skills
- Ability to adjust to changes in priorities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances
- Good organizational skills
- Must be flexible and willing to work extended hours as necessary and recognize the need to do so
- Ability to adjust scheduled time
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
