Role Overview:
Are you chronically online and addicted to crafting scroll-stopping content? Obsessed with the algorithm? We’re looking for someone to capture moments and turn them into viral hits. This role goes beyond just hitting "post"; it’s about telling stories, building brands, and driving engagement. You’ll work closely with our clients and report to our Creative Director while collaborating with our team of creatives, designers, and marketers.
This role is Hybrid—you’ll be mixing it up between our Honolulu office, client locations, and your own cozy corner of the internet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Wizardry: Plan, shoot, and edit content that slays across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Reels, IGTV, Stories—you know the drill.
- Trend Radar: Know your TikTok from your X (formerly Twitter) memes? Stay woke on the latest viral trends and internet culture.
- Engagement MVP: Slide into DMs, respond to comments, and keep the vibes positive. You’ll be the digital face behind our client brands.
- Strategy Vibes: Develop social media plans like it’s a chess game. Always one step ahead of the algorithm.
- Content Calendar Magic: Keep that content pipeline full and flowing. Organize, plan, and keep everything on time.
- Ad Guru: Manage paid social campaigns that convert, track ROI like a boss, and report back with killer data insights.
- Influencer Vibes: Spot the hottest influencers, slide into their DMs, and negotiate partnerships that expand the reach.
- Data Detective: Crunch those numbers—track engagement, metrics, and optimize based on real-time data.
- Crisis Averter: Know how to calm the waters when something goes sideways online? Develop crisis protocols and handle reputation management like a pro.
Qualifications and Skills:
We’re looking for:
- Content King/Queen: You’ve got the creative chops to shoot, edit, and post like a pro. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom) or similar tools required.
- Sociaholic: Deep knowledge of the major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and the quirks of each.
- Copywriting Boss: Whether it’s sassy captions, insightful posts, or strategic call-to-actions, you’ve got words for days.
- Data Geek: You love looking at metrics and know how to adjust strategies based on data insights (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer—yes, please).
- Flexible AF: Adaptability is key in the social world. Algorithms change, trends shift, and you're always on your toes.
- Experience: 2-3 years of content creation or social media management experience preferred (but if you’re a self-taught meme lord, show us what you got).
- Bonus Points: Knowledge of SEO, paid media strategy, influencer partnerships, and crisis communication.
Salary:
- Compensation: Starting at $25/hr
- Hybrid work model (office + remote).
