Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed product documentation, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and online help systems tailored for diverse audiences such as end users, system administrators, and support engineers.
- Write, compile, and rigorously test systems, providing constructive feedback focused on user interface design and usability.
- Advocate for customer needs by defining and refining product requirements aimed at improving user experience.
- Establish and uphold documentation standards, style guides, and templates to ensure consistency across deliverables.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, testing, and support during the product development life cycle.
- Code, test, debug, implement, and document software programs, making necessary modifications to existing systems to fulfill client requirements.
- Collect and analyze system data, prepare necessary documentation, and design programs for both projects and enhancements.
- Develop comprehensive test plans to validate the logic of new or modified software and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct quality assurance activities, including peer reviews, to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C (Pro C / C++) programming.
- Strong familiarity with UNIX or Linux operating systems and shell programming.
- Extensive experience with SQL.
- Ability to document and execute unit test cases effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in application development and programming.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with C programming and a solid understanding of UNIX or Linux.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL.
- At least 2 years of experience in documenting and executing unit test cases.
- Experience in healthcare or Medicaid is preferred but not mandatory.
