Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Client Data Analyst in Newark, Delaware. This role is a hybrid of on-site and remote work in the data analysis industry. As a Client Data Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design reports that meet these needs while ensuring accuracy and consistency. You will also be required to maintain documentation and implement best practices in navigating and publishing Business Intelligence reports.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet business requirements for reporting needs.
- Design and format reports to meet business needs and standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Create and maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures within the reporting function.
- Establish automation and efficiencies around data and reporting functions.
- Leverage expert Business Intelligence (BI) platform skills to develop advanced data flows and assemble complex consolidated dashboards/reports for presentations.
- Implement identified best practices in navigating and publishing BI reports, managing permissions, and monitoring visualization usage by data users.
- Use programming languages to work with data teams to query, structure, and model data for use in dashboards/reports.
- Drive business insights through the development of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive reporting by selecting appropriate advanced visuals that identify trends and outliers.
- Mentor less experienced team members in the use of dashboard/report templates, data visualization best practices, and facilitate learning opportunities.
- Work with business partners to conduct dashboard/report testing and recommend refinements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript for database development and data analysis
- Familiarity with Oracle and other database systems
- Experience in designing database structures following best practices
- Knowledge of compliance procedures and regulations related to data security
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation related to database procedures and designs
- Experience in processing checks and managing benefit functions
- Ability to identify discrepancies in data and rectify them using appropriate tools
- Proficiency in using data monitoring tools for regular progress tracking
- Knowledge of automation techniques for efficient data management
- Experience in creating reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and law regulations related to data management
- Skills in writing and executing database queries
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation.
