Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, online gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.
With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, Bally's will own and/or manage 15 casinos across 10 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Well, what about the team?
The Insights team is an integral and fast expanding department within Bally's Interactive. As an Insight Analyst, you will continuously work with multiple teams, and across many areas, to optimise market share and create a thrilling experience for our players. With an abundance of data at our disposal our analysts strive to provide the business with actionable recommendations through a vast number of analytical tools.
We pride ourselves on giving our analysts the freedom to explore new software and analytical techniques to produce the best analysis possible. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is always at hand to provide guidance, brainstorm ideas and help teach new concepts.
This role reports into the Sports Insight Manager based in the London office. The key stakeholders for this role will primarily be product and marketing teams across the business as well as the senior leadership team, which you will provide analysis of a variety of different areas, including the performance of our sportsbook (inclusive of trading performance and player activity), promotions and website optimisation for multiple territories around the globe.
You will show a strong interest in an analytical field with some existing knowledge of statistical tools and methods, as well as an interest in the gambling industry. You will be self-motivated with the desire to find and solve real business problems and confident in delivering your findings to multiple stakeholders across business departments.
At the heart of it this role is to help the business better understand the players’ wants and needs.
So, what will you be doing?
- Analysing data to provide direct and actionable insight on the performance of the business
- Understanding the business, particularly the sports product, to ensure analytical needs are met
- Thinking creatively to identify opportunities of how we can improve our business, product and experience for our members
- Communicating analysis clearly and directly to stakeholders to drive positive change
- Working in collaboration with various teams to ensure positive growth for Bally’s Interactive
- Improving current processes with new, innovative thinking to incorporate data into all decisions
And what are we looking for?
- Experience within and interest of the sports gambling industry
- A good understanding of the different products Bally’s Interactive has to offer
- Have excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving capabilities
- An ability to turn complex questions into clear and actionable insight through the use of data
- A team player, who is keen to develop their knowledge and understanding through working with others
- Able to communicate findings clearly and coherently to stakeholders
- Ability to complete work to a consistently high standard whilst working within deadlines
- Experience with analytical tools is great but not essential
