Position
As a Laboratory Toxicology Junior Supervisor, you will assist the Toxicology Supervisor in our mission to provide precise and prompt lab results while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and modifying Standard Operating Procedures for validations and clinical testing
- Help oversee LC/MS and Mass Spectrometry instruments
- Step in as Acting Supervisor when the Supervisor is on PTO
- Assist in interpreting data and generating patient result reports
- Help manage Quality Control Runs and take corrective actions as needed
- Ensure laboratory safety compliance and instrument standards
- Provide training and guidance to new employees
- Conduct risk assessments and report findings
- Assist in advising on the safe handling of toxic substances
- Aid in laboratory inspections and maintain standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Sciencedegree or higher in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years documented experience in clinical lab toxicology
- Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to work
- Proficiency in collecting and analyzing large volumes of experimental data
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong work management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and deliver test results promptly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Schedule: Swing Shift - Flexible Hours, likely Tuesday to Saturday, and will move to a Wednesday to Sunday schedule in the future.
Background Check Requirement:
