Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Copywriter to join our client's team in New York. Looking for a talented Copywriter to join a creative team responsible for marketing the company brand to employees and prospective candidates. The team is responsible for promoting company offerings to employees, including diversity & inclusion missions, internal career development programs, and corporate philanthropy events; as well as positioning the company as an employer of choice for recruitment partners. One will work with an integrated group of art directors, designers and copywriters reporting to the Creative Director overseeing the employer brand workstreams. Outside of the immediate team, one will collaborate with specialized teams to define the brand experiences across print, digital, motion and experiential. Must be versatile contributor that can develop and execute your ideas at every stage of the funnel, from above the line right down to email.

Responsibilities:
- Generate creative ideas that are unexpected, on brief and on brand
- Synthesize concepts into benefits that are both compelling and easy to understand
- Write compelling, persuasive and customer-focused marketing communications, including email; webpages; video; adverts for print, TV, display and OOH; social copy; promotional and supporting material for events
- Work hand-in-hand with art directors to develop and pitch concepts as a creative duo
- Take pride in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven approach
- Collaborate with a global creative team
- Build strong relationships with marketing partners and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 5+ years writing experience in a B2B organization, preferably with a background in communicating to internal employee and/or external candidate audiences
- Demonstrated experience in producing creative and strategic communications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to interact professionally with internal business partners in order to understand their business objectives
- Experience working with internal stakeholders to understand the specific program features/benefits and sales processes in order to create effective copy targeted to specific "player-type" audiences
- Experience working closely with design teams and creating communications within an established visual-design system
- The ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
- A strong portfolio, including copywriting samples for collateral such as long-form product brochures, event write-ups, sell sheets and white papers is essential. Short copy for ads and scriptwriting for videos is desirable
Location: New York, NY (In office a minimum of 4 days per work week.)
Duration: 6 month contract
Rate: $50-$60/hour, W-2 Non-Exempt consultant of Crawford Group; benefits available if eligible (Our hourly ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)
