ProspectBlue is partnered with a content creator and influencer client looking for a Business Development Associate to join its' Los Angeles, CA office!
You will be a key member of our rapidly growing client's Sales team and report to our client's VP of Marketing and Sales. Working closely with influencers and content creators, you will be responsible for pitching client services to leads and closing deals. Your primary goal will be to understand the unique needs of influencers and provide tailored solutions to help them manage their finances effectively.
Given how quickly our client's firm is growing, you will have the opportunity to grow with the firm and have significant opportunities to take on more responsibilities. We will provide any training to help you learn the necessary skills to perform the job and grow your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the unique financial needs of influencers and content creators
- Pitch our client's Finance's services to leads through calls, emails, and meetings
- Create and present customized proposals to prospective clients
- Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and close deals
- Maintain and update CRM with client interactions and sales activities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and develop sales strategies
- Travel and attend influencer-focused conferences and events 2-3x per year
Qualifications
- 2 or 4 year degree in Communications, Business, or a related field
- 1-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in a service-based industry
- Extremely strong communication, charisma, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools (Hubspot is a plus)
- Quick learner to understand and answer questions related to accounting, business formation, and more in relation to content creators
- Ability to travel to multiple conferences each year
