Project Manager – Electronic Benefit Payments

Location: Remote

Salary: $115-185k

Sabot Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing large, complex IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of project management experience, including at least 4 years as a Senior Project Manager. This role requires extensive experience working with state or federal government agencies, particularly in areas related to disability insurance or unemployment insurance.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining stakeholder management, to ensure project success
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
Identify and manage project risks, including the development of risk mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to disability insurance and unemployment insurance
Implement and manage Electronic Benefit Payment systems, such as The Money Network
Provide regular project updates to client stakeholders and senior management

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, including 4 years as a Senior Project Manager on large, complex IT projects
At least 3 years of experience working with state or federal government agencies in areas related to disability insurance or unemployment insurance
3 years of risk management experience, preferably with a certification such as CGRC or FRM

Nice to have:

PMP certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
2 years of experience with Electronic Benefit Payment implementations, such as The Money Network
7 years of experience with unemployment insurance or disability insurance
