Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures incoming and outgoing shipments to verify bills of lading, invoices, and orders. The role does not involve any actual hands-on work; a team of operators will handle that. The Administrative Assistant will review shipments for any issues and have the team fix them.
Performs computer data entry of shipping and receiving information.
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Confers with various purchasing departments to resolve incoming and outgoing shipment discrepancies.
Complies with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
Acts as a backup inventory analyst.
Coordinates with drivers and multiple different departments.
Utilizes SAP for order entry and inventory control.
Coordinates with departments to send out repairs for any issues noticed with shipments.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in City Of Industry, California.
Work Environment
100% onsite. Will spend the majority of their time in the scale office and the other half in the warehouse. Training hours are 11 AM-7 PM to allow exposure to a fast-paced environment and hands-on training through shadowing. The main shift is 11 AM-7 PM, but the ideal candidate should also be able to work 3 PM-Close when necessary. After training, standard hours are 5 AM-1:30 PM, but flexibility is required. There is a rotation system for working Saturdays about once a month. The work environment is fast-paced, and candidates need to be flexible and willing to cover for others as needed. The team is close-knit, and teamwork and character are highly valued.
