Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our Security Analytics & Innovation team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the creation, execution, and management of Analytical Products as well as Metrics & Reporting that underpin our organization’s security strategy, decision-making processes, and control mechanisms. This position is ideally suited for an entry-level candidate eager to develop their expertise in cybersecurity incident response and analytical methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update policies and procedures related to existing and new Analytical products, Metrics & Reporting packages, and Security Controls.
- Map process flows from end to end to facilitate research initiatives.
- Organize and maintain an up-to-date Metrics & Reporting Inventory.
- Ensure the successful delivery of Metrics & Reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses that support strategic decision-making.
- Assist the team in enhancing Automation maturity efforts.
- Engage in research related to Security platform systems and processes.
- Stay informed about current policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with your team to surpass established objectives.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R Studio, and SQL.
- Familiarity with both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate project risks, research analysis, and technical concepts clearly.
- Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to cultivate meaningful partnerships and collaborate effectively across various business and technical domains.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and two years of administrative support experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- A strong drive to learn and excel in a dynamic environment.
