Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for individuals registering for federal assistance, addressing inquiries about previous registrations and directing them to appropriate relief programs.
- Conduct calls with professionalism and empathy, effectively identifying customer needs and providing clear guidance or referrals.
- Input information accurately into a Windows-based database while adhering to a structured interview methodology.
- Provide relevant phone numbers and agency referrals to customers as necessary.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required, depending on the support level needed during various events.
- Participate in scheduled shift meetings to remain updated on event-specific information prior to the start of your shift.
- Display exceptional communication and customer service skills, exhibiting professionalism in all forms of communication, including reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.
- Maintain a strong understanding of personal computers within a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Complete data entry tasks while actively assisting disaster survivors via phone.
- Ensure that all calls are conducted in a private environment—no calls from cell phones or public spaces.
- Guarantee a high-speed internet connection, with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps (50 Mbps for shared connections) and an upload speed of at least 5 Mbps (10 Mbps preferred).
Required Skills

Qualifications
