LHH Recruitments Solutions is searching for a Case Manager for our client in Los Angeles, CA. This is a contract to hire opportunity and our client is looking to interview and hire ASAP!
This Case Manager role will be working extensively with the homeless demographic and will need to feel comfortable working with this clientele.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate short-term case applications and ensure the eligibility of those applying for case management assistance meets all requirements
- Perform the intake process for clients entering our client's program
- Upon new case submittals, identify and gather any additional information or documents needed to properly evaluate applications on a case-to-case basis
- Properly collect, file, and enter data in an organized, accurate, and efficient manner
- Assist case applicants with proper assistance based on their current pending status
- Negotiate with external clients in order to get a best outcome for each case and the individuals involved
- Collaborate with outside entities for resources and assistance for case applicants
- Help implement and streamline new processes that encourage efficiency and productivity throughout case management program
- Be an available resource when necessary for clients and case applicants
- Assist with other duties that are assigned throughout the workday
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Able to work independently when needed, but also be a part of a larger team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite preferred
- Project coordination and time management skills required
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree desired
- Minimum two years of case-management experience required
- Bilingual in Spanish/English desired, not required
- HMIS experience strongly preferred, Microsoft Office experience required
