About the Company:
A leading utility provider located in the New York NY is looking for a Product Analyst (Agile Business Analyst) for a 7+ month contract, with a strong potential to extend. This is a hybrid role 2-3 days onsite.
About the Role:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst/Business Analyst/Scrum Master in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to assist in gathering and own documenting business requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- User Stories: Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure they are well-understood by the development team.
- Agile Facilitation: Support agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Backlog Management: Assist in prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in defining and executing test plans to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst/Business Analyst/Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of E-mobility and electric vehicle charger programs a plus.
- Agile Product Management experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining dynamic product roadmap.
- Experience developing PowerBI dashboards.
- Experience supporting a PO with product analysis, feature breakdown, and prioritization.
