Job Title: SEO Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketer with a strong focus on SEO to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in both technical SEO and content strategy who can optimize web pages, enhance metadata, and manage key SEO tasks to improve organic search visibility. The right candidate will also be proficient in using Google’s toolsets (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and Microsoft Bing’s tools, with the ability to work seamlessly between customer-facing interactions and internal collaboration with designers, developers, and marketers
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Perform technical SEO audits, identifying issues such as crawl errors, indexing issues, and site structure problems.
- Optimize on-page elements including H1s, H2s, metadata (title tags, meta descriptions), and alt text to enhance page relevance and user experience.
- Create, edit, and optimize content to align with SEO best practices, focusing on keyword integration and content structure.
- Manage and implement SEO activities such as page speed optimization, internal linking strategies, and mobile optimization.
- Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools to track website performance, analyze traffic trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into web design and content creation processes.
- Conduct keyword research to identify valuable terms for on-page optimization and new content opportunities.
- Regularly report on SEO performance and KPIs, communicating insights and action plans to both the internal team and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of both technical and on-page SEO elements.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Microsoft Bing’s SEO tools.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and implementing SEO strategies in a variety of platforms, including WordPress, Hubspot, Shopify, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable working directly with clients and collaborating with internal teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and the latest trends in digital marketing.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a web design or digital marketing agency environment.
- A background in content creation or editing, with a strong understanding of content marketing and how it integrates with SEO.
- Google Analytics certification or other relevant SEO certifications.
