Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 based on experience level

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of the website content and updates, performance tracking and support with the overall digital suite of technology being used at Sarah O. They will help guide and manage all aspects of digital marketing alongside the Director of Marketing. Our ideal candidate has experience with e-commerce, Shopify, Content Management Systems, Google Analytics and SEO. They will be comfortable with digital marketing and e-commerce in a growing company and will have the ability to adapt to changing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with Director of Marketing to develop a full-fledged digital marketing strategy to boost the brand’s online presence, including inbound and email marketing, organic social and more.
- Collaborate with the marketing, product, customer experience and in-store teams to maintain and evolve the Shopify e-commerce website.
- Collaborates with marketing and product teams to create and maintain promotional calendar, prepares products for merchandising on the site, and generates promo codes and offers for associated products/collections.
- Manages relationships with outside development resources to prioritize and evolve site through the addition of features, functionality, and upgrades to maintain a modern, well functioning site.
- Work closely with SEO partner and content development team to know all the current SEO tactics and strategies to make our content rank better and help our target audience find us online more easily
- Monitor and report on website analytics and performance using Google Analytics.
- Leverage digital marketing tools to monitor performance, gather rich insights and drive strategies to optimize digital marketing initiatives and website performance, supporting a data-backed marketing strategy.
- Familiar with marketing tech tools like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Attentive (or others) to attract, engage, and convert audience segments through activities and promotions on the Sarah O website.
- Understand the overall digital strategy and how that impacts the website performance.
- Deeply understand our target audience and existing customers and help build the most effective digital strategies to acquire, engage, and retain them.
- Maintain awareness of the full marketing ecosystem and update/monitor the site accordingly, including product launches, promotions, social media, digital media, PR, email marketing, influencer marketing, and events.
- Collaborate closely with other marketing team members and other departments to ensure a smooth and consistent system of management for the website.
- Understands Brand Standards and works with Brand Manager to continuously update digital standards as needed.
- Create a consistent approach and workflows to keep the site up to date at all times.
- Manage integrations with supporting software and technology to ensure all media and inbound traffic is being properly tracked.
- Monitor and evaluate online media campaigns alongside Director of Marketing to inform effectiveness.
- Stay current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing world.
- Accepts other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
- Five or more years of experience in digital marketing and advertising
- Possesses an understanding of website development and Content Management Systems
- Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool
- Understands website metrics and best practices
- Experience with search engine optimization, lead generation, and email marketing
- In-depth understanding of paid digital marketing, notably Google and social media ads
- Able to work with colleagues at all levels to develop marketing goals and evaluate results
- Good at problem-solving and communication
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time, think critically, and adapt quickly in a flexible environment.
