We are looking for a sharp, friendly, well-spoken business solutions engineer with a technical engineering background to assist our company in expanding our customer base.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will combine technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships in the energy, and manufacturing industries.
You will work with company leadership who will be involved in your training, guidance and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Getting trained thoroughly on the Shoreline Company, solutions, differentiators, customers, etc.
- Identifying target customer lists and the relevant contacts within those companies.
- Using tools such as Hubspot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Apollo, for outbound campaigns, creating sequences (emails and calls), etc.
- Doing initial calls with the leads and qualifying them and passing them to the sales team for next steps.
- Working with the sales and marketing team to create the right presentations, collaterals, to pitch to the interested companies.
- Eventually within 4-6 months we expect you will independently make customer calls and nurture relationships.
- Participation in industry exhibitions and conferences for sales and lead generation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field. No prior experience in selling industry technology solutions is necessary. We will train you for it, you need to demonstrate the ability to grasp these concepts!
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrate ability to create presentations and to deliver information clearly, confidently, and succinctly.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and specifics in a relatable, engaging, and easy-to-understand way.
- Capacity to absorb advanced technical knowledge and use that knowledge in customer meetings.
- Demonstrate interest in ongoing technical and sales personal development as well as maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in technology.
- Excellent management, communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity for strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making.
Location: Houston, Tx or Bay Area, Ca, with willingness to travel at short notice.
