The Compliance Coordinator supports compliance initiatives by conducting research, analyzing data, preparing reports, performing risk assessments, participating in audits, updating policies, and delivering training. Key responsibilities include creating presentations, excelling in fast-paced environments, and using advanced technology, including Excel and tracking systems. The Coordinator also monitors compliance communication forums and responds to inquiries under the Deputy Chief of Compliance, ensuring alignment with policies. Exceptional communication skills and collaboration with stakeholders are crucial for achieving compliance goals.
Responsibilities
Evaluate compliance risks and identify vulnerabilities.
Review and document compliance breaches, providing detailed reports.
Conduct audits of internal policies to ensure regulatory adherence.
Coordinate compliance data with auditors and relevant teams.
Research industry best practices to stay updated on trends.
Review and update policies for alignment with regulations.
Manage the compliance mailbox and respond to inquiries as directed.
Conduct compliance training and create educational materials.
Participate in audits and compliance monitoring activities.
Adhere to the Code of Conduct and maintain confidentiality.
Promote safety by reporting hazards and potential issues.
Work independently with accountability for goals and timelines.
Exhibit problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Support the compliance department in achieving high reliability standards.
Travel to service locations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred; OR appropriate work experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Experience in project management, program evaluation, team facilitation, and data analysis preferred.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and advanced computer skills.

- Advanced proficiency in computer information systems, including strong computer literacy, and expertise in word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Adherence to infection control procedures, including rigorous compliance with hand hygiene, symptom self-monitoring, masking, and social distancing protocol.

- Support the Center/Department/Program to meet High Reliability Organization standards.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, insurable driving records, and be willing to travel across WellSpace Health service locations.
