LHH is seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee the entire product portfolio lifecycle for our client's Coffee, Tea, and Extracts product lines. This role involves managing product optimization, identifying new market opportunities, and leading product demonstrations for customers. You will act as a key resource for product applications and technical support, ensuring the product portfolio remains competitive and aligned with market trends. Reporting to the Director of Product Innovation and Optimization, the Product Manager will work independently, while also leading cross-functional teams on a project basis. This role requires up to 30% travel to provide technical expertise and support to sales teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Portfolio Management
- Manage the lifecycle of the product portfolio by reviewing new product proposals, activating/deactivating SKUs, and optimizing products for operational efficiency.
- Develop tools, reports, and product briefs to support Sales and improve product knowledge.
- Define and evaluate product opportunities in alignment with market trends and internal capabilities.
Technical Support and Product Applications
- Stay informed on current and future culinary trends to apply innovative solutions to the product portfolio.
- Provide technical support to customers, translating their needs into product solutions and applications.
- Conduct product feasibility studies, lead product demonstrations, and maintain detailed records of product applications.
Project Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive key initiatives, working closely with Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Operations.
- Create training materials and presentations to support internal and customer-facing initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape new opportunities and contribute to product strategy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in product/project management, product development, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in beverage formulation and sensory skills.
- Strong business acumen, with an ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to travel up to 30% for customer visits and product demonstrations.
Salary Range: $90-120k
