We are looking for a Business Analyst to work out of Dallas, TX
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science/Information Technology or related field.
- Seven or more years of related experience in a corresponding field, preferably in finance or mortgage industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using SQL language.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to execute work independently and self-lead.
- Strong business acumen and thorough understanding of business fundamentals.
- Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
- Understanding of IT concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Snowflake, Azure and GCP.
- Hands-on technical expertise in backend technologies like MSSQL Server & Oracle.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of ETL like SSIS, DataStage & Talend.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Mortgage or Finance industry.
- Proficiency with SQL & NoSQL databases.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
