Our Law Firm client is looking for an experienced Word Processing Specialist to join their Newark team! This individual will be supporting both their NJ and NYC offices.
This will be on-site Monday-Friday 9am-5pm in Newark, NJ.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce and edit documents using software such as Office 365, iManage, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Nuance PDF Converter, Adobe Acrobat, Kofax, Best Authority, Westlaw, Lexis, and Aderant.
- Support application upgrades by testing and providing feedback.
- Convert and clean up documents, ensuring compliance with firm standards for legal documents.
- Provide technical support via email, phone, helpdesk, and in-person.
- Print and manage complex document formatting.
- Create and edit Tables of Authorities and Contents, add hyperlinks and bookmarks using Westlaw, Lexis, and Best Authority.
- Handle data entry and digital dictation using various software.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of law firm secretarial and/or word processing experience;
- Strong knowledge of legal software: Microsoft Suite, Windows 10, iManage, Office 2016, Office 365
