AS A DATA ANALYST...
You will be responsible to deliver data and analytics solutions to achieve business outcomes that focus on delivering customer value and operational excellence. This role will focus on exploration of strategic new ways of using existing data as well as supporting the Voice of Customer program and product development initiatives.
The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Working with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements relating to data and analytics initiatives with a focus on delivering business outcomes
- Undertake scheduled and ad-hoc reporting activities as required. Maintain a focus on quality output and consider opportunities to integrate frequent requests into the standard suite
- Designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining reports and dashboards that meet customer and business needs
- Using data pipelines across a range of technologies that extract, load, combine and transform data from a range of internal and external sources
- Understand and follow data governance requirements that support data and analytics solutions including security, data quality, data classification, trustworthiness, and re-usability
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders through a range of forums including but not limited to team members within cross functional delivery teams, data and analytics practice group, and the data and analytics platform team
Essential
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU
- Solid experience in data analysis and developing colleague and customer facing analysis and insight
- Proficiency in Power BI, Data and dimensional modelling and other related data tools and platforms
- Experience in building dashboards and solutions for customers
- Skills and experience ingesting data from various external sources
- Experience in working with large and complex datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record and experience of working independently and proactively coming up with ideas and showing initiative when solving problems and building solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
Desirable
- Previous experience in fleet management
- Previous experience and exposure to CRM (Dynamics365) (Customer Relationship Management systems) and Customer and Sales data insight and reporting
- Proficiency in T-SQL, SQL Server, Databricks, PySpark, SSRS, Power BI, Data and dimensional modelling and other related data tools and platforms
- Experience of RDMS (SQL Server, Postgres), SaaS service via RESTful web services, event sources such as Azure Event Hub, Kafka, and Webhooks
- Previous hands-on experience working with a broad set of Microsoft Azure and Power services related to data and analytics
- Experience of working with and supporting core ERP and CRM solutions
- Previous experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
