Solutions Engineer

- Our client is a data security & compliance infrastructure Start-up.
In this role, you'll be a founding solutions engineer, working with prospective clients from initial discovery to architecture sign-off. You'll also collaborate with current customers and internal engineering teams to optimize integrations and maximize product value. You’ll be building deep relationships with CTOs, engineering leads, and teams, helping them address their most significant data security and compliance challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technical discovery and identifying customer pain points
- Demonstrating client solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Translating customer needs into product development with internal teams
- Supporting clients throughout the integration process
- Managing early product discovery, solutions architecture, and post-signing customer success
What You Need
- Prior experience as a software engineer or relevant technical background
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to customer success
- Creative problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
- Familiarity with data security and compliance concepts, particularly in payments (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA)
- Ability to advocate for clients and deliver technical solutions that meet their unique needs
- Knowledge of key terms and concepts in the payments landscape, such as PCI, PSP, network tokenization, 3D Secure, and public key cryptography
