As a
Search Engine Marketing Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our client's digital ascent, leading the optimization of their website and performance marketing campaigns to new heights (like a true Sherpa). With over 7 million visitors scaling our client's site, this role is pivotal in driving measurable results, boosting online visibility, and enhancing the user experience. Your work will help the company achieve peak performance across all digital channels.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Website Optimization: Manage and enhance our client's website to ensure top-notch functionality and user experience, helping site visitors navigate with ease.
- Develop SEO Strategies: Create and implement SEO plans for on-page, off-page, and technical improvements to boost organic search rankings and visibility.
- Drive Organic Growth: Maximize ROI by tracking key SEO KPIs such as redirects, click rates, bounce rates, and more.
- Simplify Reporting: Turn complex data into actionable insights through easy-to-understand reports and Power BI dashboards, covering everything from demand funnels to ROI.
- Analyze Data: Use analytics tools to track performance, identify improvements, and optimize SEO and website functionality.
- Optimize Campaigns: Manage and optimize marketing campaigns across digital channels (including display, paid social media, and SEM) to achieve maximum ROI.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to align marketing objectives and test new strategies.
- Measure Success: Work closely with analytics teams to measure and report on SEO efforts and marketing campaign performance.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up with industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and recommend innovative strategies.
- Test & Learn: Implement A/B and Champion/Challenger testing to continually improve website and campaign performance.
- Data Mastery: Use SQL to extract and analyze data, contributing to better decision-making and marketing insights.
- Report to Leadership: Present performance insights and reports to senior leadership and department heads.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in website maintenance, SEO, SEM, and performance marketing.
- 3+ years of experience in SEO and web analytics.
- Proven success in improving website visibility, organic search rankings, and campaign performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for data-driven decisions.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing concepts.
- Experience with A/B testing, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred).
- Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, SEO software, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and tackle challenges head-on.
Physical Requirements:
- This role is based at our client's corporate office.
- Ability to sit, use office equipment, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Navigate the office environment, including stairs and elevators as needed.
- 10% travel may be required.
