About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Graphic Designer who is looking to transition into a broader marketing role. This hybrid position will allow you to leverage your design expertise while gaining experience in brand management, marketing strategy, and campaign execution. This individual will play a key role in supporting the marketing initiatives of Method Co.'s luxury hospitality brands across the Northeast Region, including Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore.
Responsibilities:
Design & Brand Development:
- Lead and execute the creation of visually compelling designs for digital, print, and social platforms, ensuring brand consistency across Method Co.'s properties.
- Design marketing collateral including but not limited to email campaigns, brochures, advertisements, event invitations, and social media content for luxury hotels, apartments, and F&B outlets.
- Collaborate with internal MethodCo creative team as well as external creative agencies and partners to maintain the integrity of the brand's visual identity.
- Govern and enforce branding design and visual standards for all brands.
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Assist in the development and execution of regional marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engage target audiences, and drive occupancy at Method Co.'s properties.
- Coordinate the execution of social media campaigns, email marketing, and digital advertising initiatives.
- Contribute to content creation and copywriting for marketing materials, collaborating with the marketing team, across different disciplines, to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Govern and enforce marketing best practices across multi-channel disciplines.
- Create and manage annual marketing calendars.
- Advice on adhoc business and marketing needs for each venue and brand in the Northeast.
- Identify cross-marketing opportunities and collaborate with other regional marketing team member (Southeast and Midwest).
Project Management:
- Manage design and marketing projects from concept to completion, ensuring that timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Work cross-functionally with the marketing, PR, and operations teams to ensure alignment on branding and messaging.
Market & Trend Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends in luxury hospitality and design, using insights to inform creative direction and marketing strategies.
- Provide routine marketing reports, analyses on the performance of marketing campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations for future initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a senior graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design work for luxury brands.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and HubSpot Website Maintenance & Email Marketing is required.
- Passion for design and creativity, with an eye for detail and an understanding of luxury aesthetics.
- Interest in expanding into marketing, brand strategy, and campaign management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the luxury hospitality industry is a plus, though not required.
- HTML knowledge is a plus.
Additional Details:
This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. Some travel is required within the Northeast Region, including Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore.
