This role will report to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention. The Email Marketing Specialist will work closely with our lifecycle marketing, development, content, and creative teams to craft compelling email campaigns that resonate with our target audiences and align with our business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Campaign creation & execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing campaigns that align with company goals and target audience needs.
- Conduct ongoing market research and analysis of competitor email campaigns to identify trends and opportunities.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, design, and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and automated emails.
- Create and manage email calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and promotions.
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and visually appealing email content, including copy, graphics, and CTAs.
- A/B test email elements (subject lines, content, design) to optimize performance.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Use data insights to make informed recommendations for campaign improvements
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all email marketing practices comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Stay updated on email marketing trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align email plans with overall marketing initiatives.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience using email analytics and reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices and industry regulations.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong project and time management skills
- Understanding of customer audiences
- Strong collaboration skills
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems-- Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
- Familiarity working within a large organization
- Knowledge of general content marketing principles.
The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
