75 Bi-Weekly Hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with on-call duties)
Hybrid if in Buffalo/Remote if in NYS/PA
We are seeking an IT Analyst with expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to develop, support, and maintain critical applications that align with our business and clinical objectives. This role will focus on Clinical EHR systems and also include applications related to Financial & Resource Management, Patient Management/Accounting, and Web Technologies & Integration, supporting inpatient, ambulatory, homecare, and long-term care services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, support, and maintain Clinical EHR systems to optimize healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and improve EHR technologies and other clinical applications.
- Manage and enhance applications related to EHR, ensuring interoperability and seamless integration across various care environments including inpatient, ambulatory, and homecare.
- Provide technical leadership in EHR system development and mentor team members as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and offer timely support as part of the on-call rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Clinical EHR systems, Financial & Resource Management, Patient Management/Accounting, or Web Technologies & Integration, with a strong preference for EHR-related experience.
- 1 year of progressively responsible experience in software development or systems applications, including supervisory responsibilities, particularly in EHR systems.
- Advanced degrees and relevant certifications in healthcare technology or related fields are a plus.
