Regional Operations Manager - Southeast

Our client is a leading environmental solutions provider specializing in water quality and stormwater compliance for residential, commercial, civil, utilities and municipal land developers. With services ranging from stormwater management consulting and pollution prevention to site-specific SWPPPs and training, our client is dedicated to delivering comprehensive solutions. The Company is also known for its expertise in the installation of erosion and sediment controls, such as silt fences, straw blankets, hydroseed, and wattles. Headquartered in the Denver metro area, the Company operates in fourteen states and is comprised of two divisions: BMP installation and inspection.
Reporting Structure
The Regional Operations Manager - Southeast will report directly to the CEO.
Position Overview
Our client is expanding its installation operations into the Southeast and seeks a dynamic leader to manage this new business portfolio. The Region Manager will oversee multiple business units, focusing on financial performance, large-scale project management, and business development. This role will also involve indirect management of administrative staff and collaboration with the Company’s executive team.
Support and Business Plan
Our client is a well-established leader in the inspection and stormwater engineering industry throughout the Southeast. To accelerate growth, they have acquired a highly successful BMP installation business, providing a solid foundation for future expansion. This role will benefit from additional acquisitions, strong support from the existing inspection business, and valuable local contacts. Moreover, the growth will be fueled by both organic expansion and strategic investments. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between functional areas within the Southeastern installation business.
- Act as the main contact for escalations, critical follow-ups, and overall program/project management with end customers.
- Manage client expectations and ensure the success of programs and projects.
- Implement corporate policies, procedures, and systems in new entities in coordination with existing management.
- Develop and track performance indicators, providing regular reports on data and progress.
- Oversee back-office functions, including invoicing, employee matters, and system rollouts.
- Deliver timely financial and operational information to corporate leadership.
- Conduct regular meetings with business unit managers, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
- Support the C-suite with the nationwide rollout of programs and other strategic initiatives.
- Integrate newly acquired businesses into the existing model, optimizing their potential for further growth and success.
Qualifications
- Extensive management and P&L experience in the construction and/or environmental services industry.
- 7+ years of hands-on operations or field experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams effectively.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Travel Requirements
This role is remote within the Southeastern United States, with regional travel required to business units at least once a month.
