Responsibilities:
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and timely using payroll software.
- Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy.
- Calculate and process garnishments and deductions in compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and file state and federal payroll tax returns.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for management.
- Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries.
- Collaborate on payroll process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency in payroll software.
- Strong understanding of garnishment calculations and payroll tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong communication skills.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
