This company is a startup in need of a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst for analyzing complex data sets, creating insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to help drive business decisions. You will work closely with different departments, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure data-driven strategies are at the core of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources
- Build dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio to visualize key business metrics
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
- Develop predictive models and data-driven forecasts to support business growth
- Perform deep-dive analyses of customer behavior, product performance, and operational efficiency
- Continuously improve data collection methods, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis tools and methodologies
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
- Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and data modeling
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio)
- Ability to work with large, unstructured data sets and transform them into actionable insights
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques (A/B testing, regression analysis, etc.)
- Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Azure Data Lake
- Experience with business intelligence and data warehousing principles
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and how they impact data handling
- Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics tools
