Qualifications of the R&D Formulation Scientist:

- Proficient in operating formulation and analytical instruments.

- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance guidelines.
Responsibilities of the R&D Formulation Scientist:
- Design and develop innovative pharmaceutical formulations, such as tablets, capsules, and liquid forms.
- Carry out pre-formulation research to assess the characteristics of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients.
- Optimize formulations for improved stability, bioavailability, and patient adherence.
- Ensure all formulations adhere to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Understand and apply 21 CFR FDA drug compliance requirements.
- Perform HPLC stability testing, dissolution tests, and other essential evaluations to confirm formulation safety and effectiveness.
- Develop prototypes and samples for further testing and validation.
- Analyze experimental data and draw insights to drive formulation improvements.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all experiments and outcomes.
- Ensure formulations align with internal quality benchmarks.
