We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing and Receivables Coordinator to join our finance team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client billing, recording cash receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and invoices.
Education & Experience:
• Associate degree in business or related discipline required.
• 2+ years’ experience in billing/accounts receivable role preferred.
• Professional service firm experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process client cash receipts by verifying and recording transactions and resolving account discrepancies.
• Coordinate monthly billing and statements for firm partners and billers.
• Perform billing functions to finalize client invoices, such as edits, writedowns, transfers, finance charges, etc.
• Send approved invoices and statements to clients via email/mail.
• Post bills against monthly closing deadlines, including expediting billing processes as necessary.
• Research billing questions and errors to provide assistance to colleagues and clients.
• Generate various billing reports and supporting spreadsheets as requested.
• Maintain and update client account records and billing information.
• Enter and reconcile outsourcing fees, mail/delivery and other expenses for billing to client accounts.
• Identify and refer collection accounts to third-party vendor.
Position Details:
• Part-time: Approximately 15-25 hours per week.
• Flexible Schedule: Your busiest times will be the end of the month and the beginning of a new month.
Your schedule may be adjusted accordingly, based on your availability and the firm’s needs.
