Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Web Developer to join our innovative team in a remote capacity. In this position, you will take designs and assets generated by our Graphics department and convert them into fully operational and responsive homepages for client websites using WordPress and Beaver Builder. A solid grasp of CSS and responsive design principles is vital, and while specific experience with Beaver Builder is not mandatory, familiarity with it or similar page builders is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement backend solutions as required.
- Create visually appealing, responsive, and functional homepages that adhere to the designs from our Creative Department.
- Manage DNS records and execute database tasks in preparation for website launches.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance tasks, including content updates and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfil client specifications and timelines.
- Utilize Google Services and other APIs to augment website functionality.
- Maintain and document development processes and changes effectively.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project status and resolve challenges.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a remote work setting.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adhere to deadlines.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of new technologies and development best practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in web development, particularly with WordPress.
- Relevant certification in web development or a related field is advantageous.
