Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring their successful execution. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the preparation and rigorous quality control of construction documents for bid, permit, and client review, along with managing necessary revisions
- Overseeing submittal packages to relevant permitting agencies
- Collaborating effectively with external project consultants, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing professionals
- Assisting in client billing management and monitoring overall project profitability
- Supervising daily activities for Project Associates and Interns
- Administering project construction, providing regular updates to clients, and coordinating with project teams
- Conducting detailed site surveys and compiling comprehensive survey reports
- Scheduling project staff based on project demands and establishing project deadlines while keeping clients informed
- Preparing and reviewing response letters addressing feedback from external drawing reviews
- Attending municipal planning and zoning meetings
- Participating in post-construction compliance site visits and conducting punch-list inspections
- Performing and reviewing code analysis documents to ensure ADA compliance
Required Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Proven experience managing projects within retail, restaurant, or hospitality sectors
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Basic familiarity with rendering software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- A strong emphasis on customer service
- Preferred architectural licensure
- LEED accreditation is advantageous
