Position Overview:
The Lead UI/UX Designer must be a customer service-oriented IT Professional with a solid understanding of the latest tools and software within UI/UX Design. Comfortable as the primary designer working across the organization and with clients. Ability to manage the complete design process in conjunction with product and development teams. A key quality to success in this position is to have a can-do attitude while taking ownership of the Design process and excellent research skills.
How you will Contribute:
Develop and maintain design wire-frames and specifications
Work with end users to elicit requirements and gather feedback on new and existing designs
Communicate screen designs, interaction models, end-to-end experiences, and the target audience to other members of the project team
Understand the human-computer interface element of a design
Consider the UX of existing applications and work to design better alternatives
Keep current with industry trends and competitor products, and communicating design prototypes and ideas to developers
Work with UI Engineers to implement attractive designs
Develop task flows and wireframes based on user needs
The Expertise you Bring:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree with additional coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Excellent Problem solving and communication skills
Ability and experience to lead Design Research
Ability to manage projects, client relationships as relevant to UI/UX Design
Experience with wire-frame software
Strong attention to detail
4 + years as a UI/UX Designer additional experience as Lead Designer would be a plus
Experience as a Design researcher or partaking in the research process
Additional (Bonus) Skills:
Degree from an accredited Information Technology, Computer Science or related program
4+ years of experience
Lead or Lead-Level role
Financial industry experience
