About The Role:
CrowdStrike Intelligence is seeking a motivated researcher with experience in the information security domain and excellent software development skills. Our Applied Research Cell (ARC) is at the forefront of CrowdStrike’s battles with state-sponsored adversaries and criminal actors. We combine world-class intelligence analysis with deep-dive reverse engineering and malicious code analysis to support a pipeline of fully automated tools that allow the delivery of actionable indicators and cutting-edge operational insights at scale. Our systems process millions of malicious files every day to extract information that protects our customers and informs our analysts.
This highly technical position is at the intersection of threat analysis and software development. It serves an important role in increasing our visibility into the global threat landscape, and contributes to the continuous tracking of more than a hundred adversary groups. The role supports analysis workflows by finding creative and innovative solutions for both technical and non-technical problems, and automating these. Systems we built are used by our intelligence analysts, incident responders, and threat hunters. The ideal candidate for this interdisciplinary position has experience with large-scale malware analysis and the development of custom tools that aid respective tasks. This role has a special focus on enhancing CrowdStrike’s internal tool chain for dynamic analysis with a particular focus on but not necessarily limited to unpacking of malware samples.
What You'll Do:
Technical Analysis:
- Develop and maintain automated systems for large-scale malware processing, unpacking, and indicator extraction.
- Identify and solve problems and areas of improvement in analysis workflows, processes, and automated systems.
- Plan and execute development of frontend and backend systems in the context of cyber security, cyber threat intelligence, and large-scale malware processing while balancing pragmatic short-term solutions with long-term strategies and vision.
What You'll Need:
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to accurately express complex technical and non-technical ideas verbally and graphically.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, in particular Python.
- Profound knowledge of software architecture and development.
- Creativity and strong analytical skills to investigate, assess, validate, and think outside the box. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as the ability to collaborate on technical projects involving complex concepts.
- Knowledge of reverse engineering tools (disassemblers, decompilers, debuggers) and processes (unpacking malware, reconstructing code logic, etc).
- Low-level programming experience (for example, C).
- Five or more years of related experience, with three years experience in static and dynamic malicious code reverse engineering.
Education:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in User-Interface/User-Experience (UI/UX) design and development.
- Development and deployment of dockerized applications.
- Experience with multiple platforms (Linux, MacOS, mobile, etc.) is a plus.
- A background in intelligence is a plus.

About The Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for highly motivated, self-driven, a talented sales executive dedicated to making a difference in global security by protecting organizations against the most advanced attackers in the world. As the SLED Regional Sales Manager, you be managing Enterprise-level State & Local Government and Education accounts throughout the Great Lakes Region (MN-WI-IA-IL and IN) and will take CrowdStrike’s product capabilities and value to potential clients, match our strengths to clients' needs, and help our partners and clients defeat the adversary. The successful candidate has executive level contacts and is flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing situations. You must be extremely results driven, customer focused, technologically savvy, and innovative at building internal relationships and external partnerships to attack the market with passion!
This is a field sales role and we are currently looking for qualified candidates in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, or Indiana.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, develop and execute account strategy to close new business opportunities and expanding revenue with customers across the assigned region; independently and cooperatively.
- Scope, negotiate and bring to closure agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.
- Target and gain access to decision makers in key prospect accounts in the assigned territory.
- Establish access and maintain existing relationships with key decision makers (typically at the CIO and CSO level) in industry, partners, and enterprise customers to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.
- Collaborate with operative peers across functions (including the Field Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services, Customer Support, and Product Development) to create visibility with target accounts and drive engagement of target prospects at both the individual contributor and executive level.

What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of a strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
- 5+ years of field sales experience, with proven track record of hunting into net new accounts.
- 5+ years of SLED experience (Specifically with large State and Local Government and Education agencies).
- Significant and proven experience developing relationships with senior executives.
- An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
- Ability to explain complicated concepts to a variety of audiences and skill levels.
- Demonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain swift resolution.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $105,000 - $200,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
