We are seeking an Online Community Moderation Specialist to help ensure a safe, fun, and engaging online community environment. In this role, you will monitor and moderate user-generated content while working closely with internal teams to cultivate a strong and positive community. Your work will contribute to curating content and providing valuable audience insights to various departments within the organization.
This is a long-term contract assignment which may be performed fully remotely.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content to ensure a safe and positive community environment in line with the Organizations's guidelines and terms of service.
- Manage moderation of user comments on the Organization's articles using the Viafoura platform.
- Oversee moderation coverage and utilize third-party vendors, including Khoros and Viafoura, for community management.
- Identify standout user contributions for potential inclusion as articles in the Ideas, Tips & Answers (ITA) section.
- Support the implementation of an internal and external Experts Program to enhance community engagement.
- Analyze community user activity and share insights with internal teams.
- Quickly identify issues in the community and escalate as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with moderation platforms, including Viafoura, Khoros, and Sprinklr.
- Proficiency in Office365, familiarity with Salesforce and SharePoint is desired.
- Ability to balance time effectively across many online communities.
- Strong analytical skills to provide community insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
