Job Overview
A well renowned swimwear brand is seeking an energetic and driven Ecommerce Shopify Specialist to join our growing team. This new position offers tremendous growth potential and the opportunity to make a significant impact on our Brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining a brand’s Shopify store to ensure a seamless online shopping experience and drive sales. This role requires a deep understanding of Shopify's capabilities, e-commerce best practices, and digital marketing strategies. The E-commerce Shopify Specialist will also be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of the company’s Shopify store. This includes everything from product listing and content updates to optimizing user experience and implementing marketing strategies to boost online sales.
Shopify Store Management:
o Manage all aspects of the Shopify store, including product listings, collections, content updates, and overall store design.
o Ensure the store is optimized for speed, performance, and conversion.
o Implement and manage third-party apps to enhance store functionality.
Product & Inventory Management:
o Add and update product information, images, pricing, and inventory levels.
o Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure accurate stock levels and timely restocking of products.
o Manage product launches and promotions within the Shopify platform.
User Experience (UX) Optimization:
o Continuously improve the online shopping experience by implementing best practices in UX/UI design.
o Conduct A/B testing to optimize the store layout, product pages, and checkout process.
o Work with designers and developers to implement design changes and new features.
Digital Marketing Integration:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and paid advertising, into the Shopify store.
o Implement tracking and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) to monitor the performance of marketing efforts.
o Use Shopify's built-in tools and third-party apps to create and manage discount codes, gift cards, and promotional offers.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Analyze store performance, customer behavior, and sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
o Generate regular reports on key metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
o Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize store performance.
Technical Support & Maintenance:
o Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the Shopify store.
o Work with Shopify support and third-party developers to fix bugs and implement new features.
o Ensure the store is always up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates and security patches.
SEO & Content Optimization:
o Optimize product descriptions, meta tags, and other content for search engines to improve organic traffic.
o Ensure all content is consistent with the brand’s voice and style guidelines.
o Implement SEO best practices to improve the store's visibility on search engines.
Customer Experience:
o Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience, from browsing to checkout and post-purchase.
o Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer inquiries and issues related to the Shopify store.
o Implement features such as live chat, customer reviews, and product recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing Shopify stores.
- Strong understanding of Shopify's platform, including themes, apps, and APIs.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, including CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and UX/UI design.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
- Experience with third-party integrations and apps on the Shopify platform.
