As a Digital Marketing Specialist focused on Lead Optimization & Growth, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand’s voice and connecting with our audience. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our digital marketing campaigns across all channels. We are re-platforming defactoglobal.com with a new React/Next.js frontend with Strapi as the Content Management System. You will optimize our website as a core part of our Marketing Engine, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Mixpanel, and Microsoft Clarity—as well as customer engagement tools like Rapidr, Aha! Ideas, and Pendo.
This is a full-time position with a hybrid work structure (at least three days a week in-office) at The Quantum Entanglement Center at 19 3rd St, Troy, NY.
Responsibilities
1. Campaign Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing strategies (email, SEO/SEM, paid/organic social, and lead generation).
Lead content creation, designers, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-converting creatives for campaigns.
Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
2. Data & Optimization:
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns against ROI and KPIs.
Identify growth trends and optimize spend/performance based on insights.
Evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across channels.
Instrument conversion funnels to optimize user journeys.
3. Communications:
Excellent written communication skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into statements of business value.
Proficient with storytelling.
Experience creating a full range of content, including blogs, posts, white papers, case studies, video scripts, and website content.
4. Innovation & Growth:
Brainstorm new and creative strategies designed to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
Stay up-to-date with emerging digital marketing technologies and provide leadership on potential adoption.
Required Work Experience, Skills and Education
AS/BS degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in lead management, digital marketing, and performance optimization.
Strong experience in optimizing landing pages, conversion funnels, and implementing A/B or multivariate tests.
Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot).
Strong familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity) and how to utilize them to drive insights.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript constraints.
Strong analytical skills and experience in data-based decision-making.
Effective collaboration skills across creative, development, and vendor teams.
Up-to-date with the latest online marketing trends.
