Job Title: SEO Specialist
Client Location: HYBRID/ONSITE: Columbia, MD, Minneapolis, MN, or Chicago, IL.
Schedule: Tue, Wed, Thur ONSITE
Salary/Pay Rate: $39 - $44/Hourly (W2)
Duration: Approx. 3 Months (potential for extension & conversion)
Job Description:Our Higher Education Client is in need of a SEO Specialist with strong content and project management expertise.
This individual will:
- Collaborate with internal & external (agency) teams to ensure SEO optimization. Develop strategy with agency to improve SEO for select institutions.
- Create & manage core page optimization briefs.
- Manage blog content creation; provide topics, keywords, establish a content calendar.
- Quick Audit Reviews: review web pages to ensure they were updated per SEO recommendations.
- Bimonthly review of Bright Edge: check for errors, provide web team with recommended changes, pull & review data for performance.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in similar capacity (SEO strategy, content management)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience with platforms; Bright Edge, Moz, Semrush
- Preferred Industry Exp: Higher Education
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $39 - $44/Hourly (W2). Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
