I am recruiting for a leading B2B iGaming company who are in need of a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their US infrastructure team. Extensive commercial experience with GCP is required for this role and their tech stack includes Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins & Linux. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer working with automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and will be committed to maintaining high availability and performance of the company's systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, set up, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
Automate code integration, testing, building, and deployment processes.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for infrastructure management
Implement monitoring solutions for system performance and application health.
Analyze metrics and logs to identify and solve potential issues.
Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle
Provide rapid response to technical issues in development and production environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to code, infrastructure, and deployment.
Ensure proper branch and release management practices.
Implement and manage containerized environments
Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, deployment procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other IT staff.
Advocate for a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and automation to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related role.
Hands-on experience with GCP cloud platform.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm).
Experience with Ansible, or similar configuration management tool (Puppet, Chef, SaltStack). Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (BitBucket, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Experience with Kubernetes
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Bash, Groovy, Python, Go).
Experience working with incident management processes or tools (Opsgenie, JIRA ServiceDesk)
Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
