Job Title: Technical Writer – HR Knowledge Management (Contract)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to support our HR department in updating and migrating critical knowledge management documentation. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to review, revise, and reformat existing documents to ensure they are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company standards. Once finalized, these documents will be uploaded to our internal knowledge management systems such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Workvivo. This fully remote role offers flexible hours ranging from 30-40 hours per week, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR process owners to review, update, and validate existing documentation.
- Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly content tailored to different audiences within the organization.
- Ensure all documentation complies with internal standards, including tone, format, terminology, and style.
- Edit and refine content to improve clarity, accuracy, and overall coherence.
- Convert and upload finalized documents into designated knowledge management systems (ServiceNow, SharePoint, etc.).
- Maintain version control and track document updates to ensure alignment with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within a corporate or HR environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems and documentation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in simplifying complex processes and concepts for various audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow knowledge management module is preferred.
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, or similar web technologies is a plus.
