Job Description
The
Product Manager IV is responsible for competitive product analysis, product gap analysis, supporting product lifecycle, product maintenance, and product development in conjunction with the Assistant Product Manager and Product Manager. Works collaboratively with marketing, engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing to provide up-to-date product specification sheets, consumer literature, sales presentations, product value proposition analysis, and creation of training materials.
This position will serve our
Enterprise Division, located in
Roswell, GA (hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Project leads for assigned product development and maintenance projects.
- Conducts product offering analysis through competitive benchmarking.
- Provides analysis regarding marketing programs and product portfolio enhancements for assigned products and cooperates with all Division groups to support a profitable product line.
- Provides analysis of product sales, price terms, discounts, allowances, or other specific sales policies applicable to assigned products.
- Collaborates with engineering and Product Manager to drive cost reduction activities.
- Liaison with the quality group to monitor product quality and warranty metrics.
- Assist in setting up and implementing product quality correction solutions and programs.
- Co-leads and assists product manager with product design, development, and profitability analysis via the product development process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Viewed as having a specialty within a job family.
- Typically has a broad knowledge of project management.
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience.
- The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation, or delivery of processes, programs, and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education (3-4 year University degree).
- experience in product management, marketing, sales, and engineering-related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
- Sales, marketing, or HVAC industry experience.
