Job Overview:
We are seeking a
Digital Publisher to coordinate, develop, and maintain websites that serve both internal and external customers. The role focuses on creating a high-quality presentation of written and graphical web content, ensuring a positive web visitor experience and a competitive web presence. This position is fully remote and open to candidates who excel in managing content and collaborating across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the technical creation of engaging written, visual, and audio content for web pages, ensuring an appealing, informative, and user-friendly site experience.
- Manage and publish web content by working closely with marketing, legal, and other departments to keep product and service information current and relevant.
- Analyze existing data and content (print, electronic, survey data) to ensure a consistent tone and credible messaging for online audiences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and provide guidance to business partners and external vendors.
- Support the creation of web technologies to meet company and industry web standards for dynamic and functional websites.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Content Management System (CMS) Experience: Proficiency with tools such as Adobe, TeamSite, or WordPress – MUST HAVE.
- Product Information Management (PIM) Tools Experience: Familiarity with tools like Akeneo, InRiver, or Plytix – MUST HAVE.
- Website Development Experience: Demonstrated ability in website creation and maintenance – MUST HAVE.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Planner, and OneNote.
- Project and Task Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of user experience best practices, including accessibility, web layout, web writing, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
- Strong communication skills, including writing, grammar, persuasive copy, and style.
- Experience providing training on digital tools and processes.
- Project management experience, particularly in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with website optimization tools such as Siteimprove or Acrolinx.
- Background in digital publishing or brand management/marketing.
- Experience with Agile Kanban methodology is a plus.
