The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of commercial building projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
Skills and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
