Position Summary
We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and efficient input of data within our organization. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and inputting information into databases and systems, contributing to the seamless operations of various departments and processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Input and update data in databases and systems
- Verify accuracy of data input and rectify any errors
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Retrieve and present information from databases and files as required
- Adhere to data entry procedures and guidelines
- Scan and digitize documents for archival or reference purposes
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Support other administrative tasks as necessary
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office and data entry software
- Swift and accurate typing skills
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Capacity to work independently and within a team
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic understanding of databases and data entry procedures
