Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Growth Equity Associate to join our dynamic investment team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and executing growth equity investments in high-potential companies. Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and direct outreach.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities.
- Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing relevant data, including market trends, competitive landscape, and company performance metrics.
- Investment Thesis Development: Collaborate with senior team members to develop and present investment theses to the investment committee.
- Portfolio Management: Support the monitoring and management of portfolio companies, including performance tracking and strategic guidance.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging sectors to identify new investment opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed investment memos and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases (e.g., PitchBook, Capital IQ) is a plus.
