Key Responsibilities
- Process donations, including coding, logging, and inputting donor and gift details into our database.
- Aid in the preparation of acknowledgment letters and year-end tax receipts for cash and in-kind donations utilizing our donor management system.
- Oversee the Raiser's Edge database, ensuring its effective and efficient utilization.
- Collaborate with the Philanthropy Department to monitor gift entries and uphold data integrity through data entry and reporting.
- Input designations to agencies and compile designation reports.
- Work in conjunction with the Database Administrator to create and implement processes for pledge reminders and thank-you letters.
- Support Online Express donation and event page forms, including tracking.
- Generate high-quality custom reports and lists for direct mail, email, and other requests from the Philanthropy Team.
- Assist with entries in the Volunteer Management System as necessary.
- Participate in fundraising campaigns as needed.
- Manage the “do not mail/email and solicit” lists to ensure compliance.
- Maintain documentation for the major donor lifecycle and collaborate with staff to identify essential data captures.
- Support special events by tracking donations and sponsors, managing attendees, and assisting with setup and execution as part of the Philanthropy Team.
- Partner with the Database Administrator to update and uphold database policies and procedures, providing training to relevant staff on Raiser's Edge functionalities, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Foster a commitment to excellence and continuous quality improvement, delivering exceptional service to our team and clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge or equivalent donor management software is preferred.
- Strong communication abilities and adept multitasking skills.
Qualifications
- Education/Background: A minimum of a High School Diploma with at least one year of data entry experience; an Associate’s degree is preferred with six months of data entry experience.
