Highlights:

- The full-time salary for this role is very competitive and subject to bonuses. Additionally, this role will require the candidates to relocate to be near our client's HQ if they accept a full-time opportunity with our client (after the contract period ends).
Job Overview: Join our client’s dynamic Data Analytics team as a Lead Data Analyst! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of deploying and driving user engagement in Analytics, empowering data-driven decision-making that enhances performance, quality, outcomes, and cost efficiency across the organization.
Location:
Remote; however, relocation will be required once/if the position turns into an FTE one with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Leadership: Lead data, analytics, and visualization efforts within a specific segment of Our Client, guiding their organization towards smarter, data-driven decisions.
- Expert Analysis: Perform and oversee in-depth analysis, recommending the best methods, tools, and resources for analytics, statistics, and data visualization.
- Data Governance: Support data governance initiatives and align analytics activities with their strategic goals to elevate data-driven decision-making across the board.
- Training & Mentorship: Empower their management and employees by promoting the use of analytics through comprehensive training and mentoring on the appropriate tools.
- Unified Data Approach: Collaborate with Business Analytics leaders to establish a single source of truth, creating certified, trustworthy, and structured data within the Enterprise Analytics Platform.
- Project Management: Drive projects that extend foundational data needs, enabling the business to make more consistent and reliable decisions.
- Metrics Development: Develop and refine analytic metrics to ensure a consistent and coherent approach to data across the organization.
- Analytics Maturity: Spearhead the advancement of analytics maturity throughout Our Client, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Community Leadership: Lead the enterprise Data Analyst forum, sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration across teams.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years with Power BI or another reporting tool.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Dataiku for data preparation, machine learning, and data orchestration is highly desirable. Certifications in Power BI or Dataiku are a plus!
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge in data modeling (Star-Schema), wrangling, and analytics functions, with a keen understanding of how data analytics can drive business insights and value.
- Statistical & Analytical Acumen: Proficiency in statistical methods and data science, with the ability to bring innovative ideas and contribute to the strategic direction of Data Analytics within the organization.
Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies is a bonus, helping you manage multiple initiatives effectively.
